One highway, nearly door to door

Dog Boarding & Training near Seymour, MO

From Seymour it's one highway almost the whole way. Hop on US-60 west and about 25 minutes later you're in Rogersville, which makes Howliday Pet Resort an easy stop for Webster County families heading west for a trip.

For dogs who need more than a place to stay, our Board & Train program pairs overnight boarding with daily training led by Standing Obeytion Dog Training. You drop off a dog with a few habits you'd rather lose and come back to one who's been practicing better ones every day, plus a handover so you know how to keep it going at home.

Why Seymour pet parents make the drive

  • Training while you're away

Board & Train turns a trip into training time. Skills get practiced every day rather than once a week, so they stick.

  • Help for anxious dogs

Our trainers regularly help dogs who are anxious or reactive around other dogs, working at a distance your dog can handle and closing the gap as confidence grows.

  • A suite for big personalities

Alongside our regular suites and kennels, the deluxe Chiefs suite comes with a couch, a TV and enrichments every day.

“I adopted a beautiful 2-year-old American Bulldog Pit Mix who had been through a lot by the time I got him, so he had a lot of anxiety and had developed some reactivity towards other dogs. My dog, Sam, did a much-needed three-week board and train program. The transformation was amazing! Sam can be around other dogs calmly and respectfully.”
