Training session: tug, focus and settle
A trainer uses tug play as a reward, then teaches a big black dog to settle calmly on the floor during a positive-reinforcement session.
Play is one of the best rewards a dog can earn. In this session the trainer uses a tug toy to build focus and drive, then asks the dog to switch off and settle, the same off-switch that makes a dog easier to live with at home.
Our training is positive-reinforcement based and delivered with Standing Obeytion Dog Training. Pick the format that fits your schedule: Board & Train, Drop-Off Day Train or private lessons near Springfield, MO.
